Coadjoint orbits for the central extension of \(\text{Diff}^+(S^1)\) and their representatives (Q705365)

The authors make a useful study of the unitary representations of the Virasoro group and the stabilizers for the associated coadjoint orbits. In particular, they examine closely the connection between works of \textit{G. Segal} [Comm. Math. Physics 80, 301--342 (1981; Zbl 0495.22017)], \textit{A. A.
