A semi-Riemannian manifold \((M, g)\) is said to be Ricci-pseudosymmetric if at every point of \(M\) the tensors \(R\cdot S\) and \(Q(g, S)\) are linearly dependent. Here \(R\) is the Riemann curvature tensor, \(S\) is the Ricci tensor and \(Q(g, S)\) is the tensor field defined by \(Q(g, S)(X_1, X_2; X, Y)=((X\wedge Y)\cdot S)(X_1, X_2)\) and \(X\wedge Y\) operates on \(S\) as the derivation of the tensor algebra obtained from \((X\wedge Y)Z=g(Z, Y)X-g(Z, X)Y.\) This paper is devoted to the study of Ricci-pseudosymmetric hypersurfaces of a semi-Riemannian space form \((M, g)\) with dim\,\(M\geq 5\). The author characterizes such hypersurfaces in terms of another curvature condition of pseudosymmetry type.
