By using an idea due to the reviewer [see Theorem 1 in: \textit{V. Vâjâitu}, Arch. Math. 66, No. 3, 250--257 (1996; Zbl 0917.32011)] here the authors prove the following result. Theorem. Let \(X\) and \(Y\) be reduced complex spaces and \(\pi: X\to Y\) a locally semi-finite holomorphic map such that \(\pi^{-1}(Y_{\sin g})\) is here in \(X\). If \(Y\) is Kähler complete, then \(X\) is Kähler complete, too. The notion of kählerianity is in the sense of \textit{B. G. Moishezon} [Manifolds, Proc. int. Conf. Manifolds relat. Top. Topol., Tokyo 1973, 343--351 (1975; Zbl 0344.32018)].
