Given the Teichmüller space \(T_g\) of Riemannian surfaces of genus \(g\) endowed with the Weil-Petersson metric, an element \(X \in T_g\) is said to be a perfect surface if the gradients with respect to the Weil-Petersson metric span the tangent space \(T_X(T_g)\). In the paper under review the author constructs an infinite sequence of such perfect surfaces.
