A conjugacy criterion for pure \(E_{0}\)-semigroups (Q710921)

Every \(E_0\)-semigroup \(\vartheta\) on \(B(H)\) may be restricted to the \(C^*\)-algebra generated by the commutants of \(\vartheta_t(B(H))\). Every unitary cocycle for \(\vartheta\) induces a conjugacy between that restriction and the same restriction for the corresponding cocycle perturbation of \(\vartheta\). A cocycle is normal if the induced conjugacy extends to a normal conjugacy of commutants of the respective tail algebras. The author shows for pure \(E_0\)-semigroups that existence of a normal cocycle mediating between two \(E_0\)-semigroups is equivalent to that these \(E_0\)-semigroups are conjugate. He also gives a characterization under the additional assumption of an invariant normal state.
