The paper is the first step in the investigation of equations of ideal compressible MHD \[ \begin{aligned} &\frac{\partial \rho}{\partial t}+\text{div}(\rho v)=0,\\ & \frac{\partial \rho v}{\partial t}+ \text{div}\,(\rho v\otimes v-H\otimes H)+ \nabla q=0\\ & \frac{\partial H}{\partial t} -\nabla\times(v\times H)=0,\quad \text{div}\,H=0,\\ &\frac{\partial }{\partial t}\left(\rho e+\frac{1}{2}|H|^2\right)+ \text{div}\,\big((\rho e+p)v+H\times(v\times H)\big)=0 \end{aligned} \] where \(v\) is the plasma velocity, \(\rho\) is the density, \(H\) is is the magnetic field, \(p\) is the pressure, \(q=p+\frac{1}{2}|H|^2\) is the total pressure. The plasma occupies an unbounded domain \(\Omega^+(t)=\{x_1>\varphi(x_2,x_3,t)\}\). A domain \(\Omega^-(t)=\{x_1<\varphi(x_2,x_3,t)\}\) is occupied by vacuum with magnetic field \(H^v\). The function \(\varphi\) is to be determined. The author studies the linearized problem in a half-space \(\{x_1>0\}\). Two boundary conditions are considered on the boundary \(\{x_1=0\}\). First \[ \frac{\partial q}{\partial x_1}-\Big(H^v,\frac{\partial H^v}{\partial x_1}\Big)\geq \varepsilon>0, \] second \[ |(H_2H^v_3-H_3H^v_2)|\geq \varepsilon_1>0. \] It is proved that the half-space problems with these conditions are well posed. It means that the solutions satisfy to basic a priori estimates.
