It is well-known that automorphisms of a Levi-non-degenerate hypersurface germ are determined by their 2-jet at a fixed point. Moreover, Beloshapka has proved in 1979 that 1-jets are sufficient, except for spherical hypersurfaces. This result has been generalised by Kolář to finite-type hypersurface germs in \(\mathbb C^2\). In previous papers the author has constructed hypersurface germs whose automorphisms are determined by \((n+1)\)-jets, but not \(n\)-jets for any \(n \geq 2\). Such germs are necessarily of infinite type. Moreover, they turned out to be generically spherical, that is spherical outside a proper subvariety. In the paper under review the author studies hypersurface germs in \(\mathbb C^2\) of the form \(\text{Im\,} w = (\text{Re\,} w)\theta (|z|^2)\), where \(\theta\) is a non-zero real-analytic function with \(\theta(0) = 0\). He gives an explicit formula for their automorphisms that involves 8 real and one integral parameter and he proves that the automorphisms are determined by 1-jets unless the germ is generically spherical.
