\textit{F. O. Farid} et al. [Linear Algebra Appl. 437, No. 7, 1854--1891 (2012; Zbl 1276.47018)] have investigated the Hermitian solutions to the system \(A_{1}X_{1}=C_{1},X_{1}B_{1}=D_{1},A_{2}X_{2}=C_{2},X_{2}B_{2}=D_{2} ,A_{3}X_{1}A_{3}^{\ast}+A_{4}X_{2}A_{4}^{\ast}=C_{5}\) of adjointable operator equations in the setting of Hilbert \(C^\ast\)-modules. In the paper under review, the authors give some solvability conditions for the positive solution to the above system and also present an expression for the positive solution to this system when the solvability conditions are satisfied. As an application, they discuss solvability conditions and the expression of reflexive positive semidefinite solutions to the system \(AX=B\), \(XC=D\), \(EXE^\ast=F\) over the complex number field.
