The author develops the celebrated Ważewski's retract method for planar dynamic equations on an arbitrary time scale without the restrictive assumption that the whole boundary is a set of constraints. In order to obtain the results, the authors construct a retraction, which has to be a continuous map from an initial \(t_{0}\)-section \(\Omega_{t_{0}}\) of the tube of constraints \(\Omega\) onto the \(t_{0}\)-section \(E_{t_{0}}\) of the set of egress points. Using the Schönflies theorem, they obtain the results. At the end of this paper, the authors give an example to illustrate visually the main result. The obtained results can be extended to difference equations.
