On Dirac delta sequences and their generating functions (Q714605)

The authors, motivated by Galapon delta sequences, develop some new results concerning delta sequences. They introduce the concept of generating functions of the Dirac delta sequences and use it to design different Galapon delta sequences with or without compact support. They present examples of these functions and propose a method for designing functions of Dirac delta sequences that vanish at the support of the Dirac delta functions and are symmetric or not symmetric.
