A specific model of the continuum percolation is considered to extend previous results of \textit{T. Kumagai} and the author [J. Theor. Probab. 21, No.~4, 910--935 (2008; Zbl 1159.60029)] on random walks on percolation clusters, with an emphasis on their recurrence and heat kernel estimates. The continuum percolation model refers to random points in \(\mathbb R^d\) and spheres with random radii centered at each point. The emergent random walk on a random graph is investigated and heat kernel estimates are established in dimension \(d=1\). An extension to \(d=2\) is discussed. An overview of previous results on strongly recurrent random walks on general random graphs is given in the Appendix.
