The author calculates the Floer homology of the pair \((\mathbb RP^{2n-1}, T^{2n-1})\) in \(\mathbb CP^{2n-1}\) and shows that the dimension of the Floer homology is \(2^n\). In particular, this implies that \(\mathbb RP^{2n-1}\) and \(T^{2n-1}\) must always intersect in at least \(2^n\) points under a Hamiltonian isotopy if the intersection is transverse.
