Qualitative uncertainty principle for the Gabor transform on certain locally compact groups (Q721013)

The authors investigate the qualitative uncertainty principle (QUP) for the Gabor transform on certain locally compact groups including Heisenberg groups and other low-dimensional nilpotent Lie groups, Moore groups, groups of the form \(H \times D\) (where \(D\) is a discrete group and \(H\) is the group for which the QUP holds), groups \(G\) containing a subgroup of finite index, and multiplier extensions of \(\mathbb{T}\) by an abelian group.
