This paper is concerned with solving a nonlinear monotone operator equation in a Hilbert space. Continuous methods are important in this context and the authors discuss a~continuous third order method. The paper aims to demonstrate the technique of construction of the solution and provide a proof of strong convergence of methods of order greater than two. The method considered (of order three) provides an example of application the more general result.
