This voluminous book provides an exhaustive and self-contained treatment of several spaces related to Besov spaces. \par The useful applications of Besov spaces and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces to partial differential equations allow the reader to examine in detail many properties of the solutions of the equations. \par The author deeply studies many examples where non-differentiable functions play a fundamental role in, for example, the study of Brownian motion, chemistry applications, and in economics. \par The key arguments in the book are a formulation of the Fefferman-Stein vector-valued maximal inequality and its corollary as well as the ``local means'' of Section 2.5.2. \par In the context of atomic decomposition, the author includes quarkonial decomposition and presents an application of it. \par Due to these and other new parts, the book is different from the existing literature.
