Multiple solutions for nonvariational quasilinear elliptic systems (Q723788)

The paper is concerned with the qualitative analysis of the solutions to a nonvariational quasilinear elliptic system with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. The authors are interested in the existence of multiple nontrivial solutions. The main result establishes the existence of at least three solutions, two of them are of opposite constant sign and the third one is nodal in an appropriate sense provided that a suitable location occurs. The proof is based on comparison principles in combination with the Leray-Schauder topological degree.
