Thābit ibn Qurra's restoration of Euclid's \textit{Data}. Text, translation, commentary (Q723889)

This is a critical edition, translation, and study of Thābit ibn Qurra's restoration of Euclid's \textit{Data}, the earliest complete Arabic extant version of the \textit{Data}. Significant differences between the Greek and Arabic versions of the treatise, including that of the concept of ``given'' are treated in detail both in the introduction (where we aso find out about the position of the \textit{Data} in Greek and Arabic geometry, on the various medieval versions and on the manuscripts used for the current edition) and in the more than 100 page long critical commentary.
