\textit{P. Chaudhuri} and \textit{J. S. Marron} [J. Am. Stat. Assoc. 94, No. 447, 807--823 (1999; Zbl 1072.62556); Ann. Stat. 28, No. 2, 408--428 (2000; Zbl 1106.62318)] introduced the concept of SiZer (Significant Zero crossings of derivatives) for the detection of shape parameters of densities on the real line. The authors generalize the SiZer to the case of circular data called circular SiZer based on wrapped Gaussian kernel (WiZer). Earlier work on the circular version of SiZer is due to \textit{M. Oliviera} et al. [``CircSiZer: an exploratory tool for circular data'', Environ. Ecol. Stud. 21, 143--159 (2013; \url{doi:10.1007/s10651-013-0249-0})]. An application to early stem cell differentiation is discussed.
