An adjointable operator \(T: X\to X\) defined on a Hilbert \(C^*\)-module \(X\) is called EP if \(\text{ran}(T)\) and \(\text{ran}(T^*)\) have the same closure. The authors show that the product of commuting operators \(T,S\in L(X)\) with closed ranges is EP if \(\text{ran}(T^*)\cap\text{ran}(S^*)=\text{ran}(TS)\). In addition, they investigate some conditions so that the reverse order law holds for \(\{1,2,3\}\)- and \(\{1,2,4\}\)-inverses of product modular operators. We should note that the reverse order law \((TS)^\dagger=S^\dagger T^\dagger\) does not hold in general.
