Cauchy conformal fields in dimensions \({d > 2}\) (Q728513)

In this article, the authors analyze the role of holomorphic fields in 2d conformal field theory. They generalize the analysis to fields in \(d > 2\) by introducing the notion of ``Cauchy conformal fields,'' which are fields that satisfy a certain first-order differential equation, are free in the sense that their correlation functions factorize on the 2-point function. The authors then classify all the unitary Cauchy conformal fields and conclude by discussing the possibility of non-unitary Cauchy fields and classify them in \(d=3\) and \(d=4\).
