We develop a tensor-tubal Arnoldi method for approximating quantities associated with third-order tensor functions by projecting high-dimensional problems onto lower-dimensional tensor Krylov subspaces, exploiting novel algebraic properties of the t-product to address large-scale tensor computations efficiently and effectively.
