    Let \(\Delta\) be the unit polydisk in \(\mathbb{C}^{d+1}\) and let \(\|\cdot\|_M\) denote the \(\sup\)-norm on a set \(M\subset \mathbb{C}^{d+1}\). Given \(x=(x_1\dots,x_d)\in [-1,1]^d\) with linearly independent over \(\mathbb{Z}\), we let \[ K(x)=\{(e^z, e^{x_1z},\dots, e^{x_dz}) \,:\;|z|\leq 1\}. \] The set of all polynomials \(P\in \mathbb{C}[z_1,\dots, z_{d+1}]\) of degree \(n\) is denoted by \({\mathcal P}_n(d+1)\). Further, let \[ E_n(x) = \sup\,\{\|P\|_{\Delta}\,:\;P\in {\mathcal P}_n(d+1), \;\|P\|_{K(x)}\leq 1\}. \] It is shown that if \(x\in [-1,1]^d\) is Diophantine, then \[ \log E_n(x)\leq \frac{n^{d+1}}{(d-1)!(d+1)}\log n + O(n^{d+1}), \] where the implied constant depends on \(x\) and \(d\) only.
