Let \(M\) be a smooth manifold of dimension \(n\geq4\). The triple \((M,\omega,\theta)\) is called a locally conformal symplectic manifold if there exists a closed 1-form \(\theta\) such that a non-degenerate 2-form \(\omega\) satisfies the relation \(d\omega=\theta\wedge\omega\). Let \(i:Z\hookrightarrow M\) be a submanifold. We say that \(Z\) is an induced locally conformal symplectic (or ILCS) submanifold if \(i^*\omega\) is non-degenerate. The authors construct blow-ups of locally conformal symplectic manifold along its ILCS submanifold \(Z\). To construct this blow-up the authors prove firstly that the normal bundle \({\mathbb N}:={\mathbb N}_{Z/M}\) of \(Z\) in \(M\) admits a complex vector bundle structure. This allows to use the method similar to the construction of symplectic blow-ups. Moreover, if \(Z\) is a compact ILCS submanifold of \(M\) such that the cohomology class \(i^*[\theta]\) vanishes, then the blow-up \(\bar M\) of \(M\) along this \(Z\) also admits a locally conformal symplectic structure \((\bar \omega,\bar\theta)\), where \(\bar\theta=\pi^*\theta\) and \(\pi:\bar M\to M\). Finally, the authors propose two further problems related to the locally conformal symplectic blow-up.
