Some fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings satisfying an implicit relation (Q730663)

Largely following \textit{A. Branciari} [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 29, No.~9, 531--536 (2002; Zbl 0993.54040)], \textit{V. Popa} [Demonstr. Math. 32, No.~1, 157--163 (1999; Zbl 0926.54030)] and the reviewer and \textit{S. N. Mishra} [Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 28, No.~5, 611--615 (1997; Zbl 0876.54033)], the authors obtain fixed point theorems for weakly compatible maps on metric spaces.
