The author studies uniqueness theorems for meromorphic functions concerning differential polynomials. His main aim is to replace weighted sharing by weakly weighted sharing. The interesting main result in this direction is the following: Theorem. Let \(f\) and \(g\) be two non-constant meromorphic functions, and let \(n\) (\(\geq14\)) be an integer such that \(n+1\) is not divisible by 3. If \(f^n(f^3-1)f^\prime\) and \(g^n(g^3-1)g'\) share \((1,2)\), then \(f\equiv g\).
