Let \(S\) be a partially ordered (p.o.) monoid. A p.o. set \(A\) is called a right \(S\)-poset if \(S\) acts on \(A\) in such a way that (i) for all \(s,t\in S\), \(a\in A\), \(a(st)= (as)t\), \(a1= a\), and (ii) the action is montonic in each variable. In this paper p.o. monoids \(S\) are studied which are the disjoint union of a subgroup \(G\) and a (semigroup) ideal \(I\) of \(S\). For such p.o. ideal extensions the question is dealt with which (p.o.) flatness properties of an \(I^1\)-poset \(A\) \((I^1= I\cup\{1\})\) still hold for \(A\) as an \(S\)-poset. It is shown that if a right \(S\)-poset \(A\) is principally weakly flat, (weakly) flat, p.o.-flat, (principally) weakly p.o.-flat, (p.o.) torsion free, or satisfies one of seven further conditions, as an \(I^1\)-poset, then \(A\) has these properties as a right \(S\)-poset, too. This generalizes and widens results of \textit{A. Golchin} [Semigroup Forum 67, No. 2, 262--270 (2003; Zbl 1045.20051) and ibid. 70, No. 2, 296--301 (2005; Zbl 1069.20063)] concerning right \(S\)-acts without partial order. By contrast it is shown that a right \(S\)-poset, which is free, projective or stongly flat as a right \(I^1\)-poset, may not have these properties as a right \(S\)-poset.
