In the paper under review, R. Leclercq proves the naturality of the Seidel morphism with respect to the product of two symplectic manifolds \((M,\omega)\) and \((M',\omega')\) which are assumed to be closed and monotone. This extends a previous result of \textit{A. Pedroza} [Int. Math. Res. Not. 2008, Article ID rnn049 (2008; Zbl 1147.53069)] proved under the additional hypothesis \(\pi_{2}(M')=0\). As an application, the author proves that if a loop \((g,g')\) is trivial in \(\pi_{1}(\text{Ham}(M\times M',\omega\oplus\omega'))\), both loops \(g\) and \(g'\) are mapped to the identity via the Seidel morphism. In particular, if the Seidel morphism associated to \(M\) is injective then the canonical map \[ \pi_{1}(\text{Ham}(M,\omega))\times \pi_{1}(\text{Ham}(M,\omega))\rightarrow \pi_{1} (\text{Ham}(M\times M,\omega\oplus\omega)) \] is also injective.
