    The author studies the following system of integro-differential equations \[ \frac{dx}{dt} = A(t)x + f(t) + \rho \int_0^{L(t)} {\bar {\Gamma }(t,s)x(s)ds} , \] where the \(n\times n\) matrix \(A(t)\), the vector \(f(t)\), and the scalar function \(L(t)\) are continuous and \(\omega \)-periodic, the \(n\times n\) matrix \(\bar {\Gamma }(t,s)\) is continuous and \(\omega \)-periodic in the variables \(t\) and \(s\), and \(\rho \) is a parameter. The system in the degenerate case, i.e., in the case in which \(B(\omega ) = 0\), where \(B(t) = \int_0^t {A(\tau )d\tau } \), is considered. Obviously, \(B(t + \omega ) = B(t)\), and \(\det \left\| {E - B(t)} \right\| \neq 0\) for all \(t \in R\) if \(\beta \omega < 1\), where \( \beta = \max \left\| {A(t)} \right\|,\) \(0 \leq t \leq \omega \) and \(E\) is the identity matrix. By using integro-differential equations with a parameter, an analytic representation of the solutions is constructed and estimates for the convergence rate of iterative processes are obtained.
