A generalized \(f\)-projection operator to the existence theorem and an algorithm for a general implicit variational inequality in Banach space is considered. An iterative algorithm for solving \[ GIVI (T-\xi,K):\text{ Find }x\in K\text{ such that }\langle T_x-\xi, y-g(x)\rangle +f(y)-f(g(x)) \geq 0\;\forall y \in K \] (the general implicit variational inequality) is constructed. In the authors conclusions, the monotonicity of operators in reflexive and smooth Banach space is not needed. Main result: An existence theorem for the solution of the general implicit variational inequality is shown. By employing the generalized \(f\)-projection operator an iterative algorithm for solving the general mixed variational inequality \(GIVI (T-\xi,K)\) is proposed and the convergence of the presented iterative method is shown. Precise proofs of the theorems are given.
