\textit{M. C. Zdun} [Continuous and differentiable iteration semigroups, Pr. Nauk. Uniw. Śl. Katow. 308 (1979)] proved that if \(\alpha:X \to I \subset \mathbb R\) is a bijections and \(I\) is an interval with right endpoint \(q\) (\(q \in I\) if finite), then the function \(f:(0,\infty)\times X \to X\) given by \[ f(t,x)=\alpha^{-1}(\min\{\alpha(x)+t,q\}) \] is an iteration semigroup. In the paper under review, a set-valued counterpart of the function above is considered, namely \(F:(0,\infty)\times X \to 2^X\) given by \[ F(t,x)=A^{-1}(\{A(x)\}+\min\{t,q-A(x)\}), \] where \(A:X \to \mathbb R\) is such that \(S=A(X)\) is an interval and \(q=\sup S\). Under some topological conditions on \(X\), results are given concerning the lower semicontinuity of \(F(\cdot,x)\) and \(F(t,\cdot)\).
