Singular holomorphic distributions on a complex manifold \((X, {\mathcal O}_X)\) are considered. A micro-local viewpoint in terms of the conormal sheaf geometry is developed in the context of complex differential geometry with some description by differential 1-forms. A singular holomorphic distribution \({\mathcal G}\) on \(X\) is defined as a coherent subsheaf of the cotangent sheaf \(\Omega_X\). In the case \({\mathcal G}\) is a codimension one locally free distribution of a singular locus \(S({\mathcal G})\) with connected components \(S_j\), the author defines the residue \(\text{Res}( {\mathcal G}, S_J)\) of \({\mathcal G}\) at \(S_j\). The residue formula in terms of the \(n\)-th Chern form \(C_n(\nabla_j)\), \(\nabla_j\) being a connection for a vector bundle on a regular neighbourhood \(U_j\) of \(S_j\), is obtained. Using a projective resolution of the factor-sheaf \({\mathcal O}/{\mathcal J}w\) (the Koszul resolution), the author defines the Chern character \(\text{ch }({\mathcal O}/ {\mathcal J})\) for the coherent sheaf \({\mathcal O}/{\mathcal J}w\). Here, \({\mathcal J}w\) is the ideal sheaf of the contraction operator (see the paper). On this basis, a Baum-Bott type residue formula is derived form the above mentioned one. Some interesting remarks on the Riemann-Roch formula for \({\mathcal D}\)-modules associated to a holomophic foliation are formulated, especially, a theorem about Riemann-Roch formula for codimension one regular foliation.
