Rank 4 premodular categories (Q739878)

The main goal of this paper is to classify rank \(4\) premodular categories. In order to do that, the techniques commonly applied in the modular setting do not apply in the premodular context and then the author needs to develop new tools. More precisely, he gives (Section \(3\)) a formula for the 2nd Frobenius-Schur indicator in the premodular setting. As an application he classifies (Section \(4\)) the rank \(4\) premodular categories. The paper ends with an appendix written with other authors that proves that there are only finitely many premodular categories of fixed rank, up to equivalence.
