The authors consider an algebra \(\mathbb{C}\oplus\mathbb{H}\oplus M_3(\mathbb{C})\), where \(\mathbb{H}\) is the division ring of quaternions. The spectral triple associated to such an algebra is shown to have applications in the standard model.
