    A function class \(\mathcal{F}\subset \mathbb{R}^{\mathbb{R}}\) has the \textit{difference property} in the sense of N. G. de Bruijn if for any function \(f:\mathbb{R}\rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) satisfying the condition \( \Delta _{h}f\in \mathcal{F}\) for all \(h\in \mathbb{R}\), there exists an additive function \(a:\mathbb{R}\rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) such that \(f-a\in \mathcal{F}\), where \(\Delta _{h}f(x)=f(x+h)-f(x)\) and \(a(x+y)=a(x)+a(y)\), \(x,y \in \mathbb{R}\). Denote by \(\mathcal{C}\) the set of all convex functions \(f: \mathbb{R}\rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) and by \(\delta \left( \mathcal{C}\right) = \mathcal{C-C}\) the set of all \textit{delta-convex functions}. The main result of the paper is that the class \(\delta \left( \mathcal{C}\right) \) has the difference property.
