This paper proves, in several steps, the following theorem: Let \(f\) be a holomorphic function on \(\{|\zeta |>1\}\subset \mathbb{C}\) such that \(f(\{|\zeta |>1\})\subset \mathbb{C}\setminus \{0\}\) and let \(n\) be a non-negative integer. If every real-analytic curve \(\gamma :[0, 1) \rightarrow \{|\zeta |>1\}\) tending to \(\infty \) satisfies \(\int _{\gamma }|\log \zeta |^n|f(\zeta )||d\zeta |=\infty \) then \(f\) is meromorphic at \(\infty \).
