Transference inequalities for multiplicative Diophantine exponents (Q741180)

The author extends the notion of Diophantine exponents to the multiplicative case. He considers matrix analogues of classical Diophantine approximation theorems. It is shown for instance, that a matrix is badly approximable if and only if its transpose is badly approximable. The multiplicative exponents and the ordinary exponents are related by some inequalities. The proofs use deep tools from the geometry of numbers.
