Let \(X\) be a domain in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) which is strictly \(p\)-convex in the sense of \textit{F. R. Harvey} and \textit{H. B. Lawson } [Indiana Univ. Math. J. 62, No. 1, 149--169 (2013; Zbl 1288.32046)]. The authors show that the \(k^{\text{th}}\) de Rham cohomology groups of \(X\) vanish for any \(k\geq p\). This result was proved previously by \textit{J. Sha} [Invent. Math. 83, 437--447 (1986; Zbl 0563.53032)] and by \textit{H. Wu} [Indiana Univ. Math. J. 36, 525--548 (1987; Zbl 0639.53050)] who used Morse theory. The present proof is quite different in flavor and uses \(L^2\) techniques motivated by work of \textit{A. Andreotti} and \textit{E. Vesentini} [Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 25, 313--362 (1965; Zbl 0138.06604)]. Section 0 provides an introduction to the matter at hand and Section 1 introduces the main definitions and recalls work of \textit{A. Andreotti} and \textit{H. Grauert} [Bull. Soc. Math. Fr. 90, 193--259 (1962; Zbl 0106.05501)]. Some basic estimates are established in \S2 and the proof of the desired vanishing result then given in Section 3.
