This is a study on convergence and propagation of chaos for spatially extended networks with multi-scale disordered connectivity. The model and network equations are introduced in the first section. Some results regarding the topology of the network and the well-posedness of the network system are shown. The mean-field equation is introduced next. The existence and uniqueness of solutions for the mean-field equation are studied in the second section. This equation contains a stochastic integral involving chaotic Brownian motions and an integrated McKean-Vlasov mean-field term with delays. One introduces suitable functional spaces, defines the strong solution to the mean-field equation and proves the existence of a unique strong solution. The third section is devoted to the main result of the article. One proves the convergence in law of the solutions of the networks equations towards the mean-field equations and the fact that the propagation of chaos property occurs. The convergence is proved by means of a coupling method. The fourth section as well as the introduction contain valuable comments, analysis, surveys of results on the subject and indicate connections to some other domains. A very interesting article.
