The authors evaluate the critical magnetic field \(H\) of the field-induced Kosterlitz-Thouless transition in the critical triangular-lattice antiferromagnet directly from Monte Carlo simulations combined with the Yang-Lee zero approach. The value \(H\) is calculated using the density of states as a function of the magnetization obtained from the microcanonical transfer matrix for small systems and the Wang-Landau Monte Carlo algorithm for large systems. This method is computationally promising and agrees well with the results from other indirect methods.
