The paper studies the dynamics of the problem \[ y'(t)=y(t)\left (p(t)-\frac {Q(t)y^n(t-\sigma (t))}{R+y^n(t-\sigma (t))}\right ),\quad t\not = t_k, \eqno (1) \] \[ y(t_k^+)=(1+b_k)y(t_k), \eqno (2) \] with fixed impulse points \(0<t_1<t_2<\dots \) such that \(\lim _{k\to \infty }t_k =\infty \). Here, \(p, Q\) are locally summable functions on \([0,\infty )\) and \(\sigma \) is a Lebesgue measurable function on \([0,\infty )\), \(R\in (0,\infty )\) and \(\{b_k\}\) is a real sequence such that \(b_k>-1,\, k=1,2,\dots \). Further, the functions \(p,Q,\sigma \) and \(\prod _{0<t_k<t} (1+b_k)\) are positive and \(\omega \)-periodic. The authors prove that under these assumptions, the problem given by (1) and (2) is permanent and has at least one \(\omega \)-periodic solution. Under some additional assumption this periodic solution is unique, positive and globally attractive for other positive solutions. The proofs are based on a combination of some analytic techniques with the coincidence degree theory. One example illustrating the results is given in the last section.
