The paper deals with the abstract impulsive problem of the form \[ \begin{aligned} & u'(t)+A\,u(t)=f(t,u(t),(Gu)(t)),\quad t\in [0,a]\setminus \{t_1,t_2,\dots ,t_m\},\\ & u(t_k+)=u(t_k)+I_k(u(t_k)),\quad k=1,2,\dots ,m,\\ & u(0)=x_0+g(u),\end{aligned}\tag{P} \] where \(0<a<\infty ,\) \(E\) is an ordered Banach space with a normal positive cone, \(A:D(A)\subset E\to E\) is a closed linear operator and \(-A\) generates a positive \(C_0\)-semigroup on \(E,\) \(f\in C([0,a]\times E\times E),\) \(0<t_1<t_2<\dots <t_m<a,\) \(I_k\in C(E,E)\) for \(k=1,2,\dots ,m,\) \(x_0\in E,\) \((Gu)(t)=\int _0^tK(t,s)\,u(s)\,\text{d}s,\) \(K\) is a nonnegative real function defined and continuous on the set \(\{(t,s)\in [0,a]^2,s\leq t\}\) and \(g\) is a mapping of \(PC([0,a],E)\) into \(E,\) where \(PC([0,a],E)\) is the space of functions \(u:[0,a]\to E\) which are regulated on \([0,a]\) and left-continuous on \((0,a].\) Assuming that there is a pair of well-ordered lower and upper solutions, the authors prove abstract results ensuring the existence of extremal mild solutions of (P), where several variants of, in particular, monotonicity and noncompactness measure conditions are used. Then, applications to impulsive parabolic partial integro-differential equations with nonlocal conditions are given.
