The author studies topological properties of a magnetic helicity invariant parameter, introduces its higher asymptotic analogs, and computes correlation tensors that enable the spectral analysis and derivation of upper and lower bounds for the invariants. The results are applied to the induction equation for magnetic fields in a non-ideal, electrically conducting medium with known fluid velocity.
