A generalization of the magnetization dynamics model in certain nanodevices is introduced. The model is based on a recent modification of the classic Landau-Lifshitz equation that includes the so-called spin-transfer torque. A dynamical system is defined by a pair of Landau-Lifshitz equations with spin-transfer terms. Magnetic nanodevices, such as the magnetic random access memory, typically consist of at least two magnetic layers, one of which serves as a reference and the other is an active layer. The magnetic moment representing the reference layer is usually assumed to be constant and the magnetization vector of the active layer varies with time. The dynamics of the magnetization vector of the active layer is important for the design of such devices. The explicit stability criterion for critical points of the system and the stability criterion involving physical and geometric characteristics of the model along with two control parameters, the applied current and magnetic field, are derived and proved. The experimental data of this investigation can be used for predicting the response of bi-layered nanodevices to control parameters.
