In this paper, the authors extend some geometrical properties of a class of solvable Lie groups \(M^{2n+1}\) with odd dimension to the Riemannian and Lorentzian cases. They obtain all descriptions of their homogeneous Lorentzian and Riemannian structures and then calculate the energy of a left-invariant vector field \(X\) on these spaces. It is also proved that no left-invariant unit time-like vector fields are critical points for the space-like energy and that there is no invariant contact structure and left-invariant Ricci solitons on these spaces.
