The author studies basic properties of the generalized Bézier transformation \(B_n\) of a given sequence \(\{y_0, y_1, \dots, y_{2n}\}\). He proves the recurrence relation and the bounds for the functions used to define the generalized Bézier transformation. Next, he shows different representations of \(B_n\) and examples of \(B_n\) for some given sequences \(\{y_0, y_1, \dots, y_{2n}\}\). Moreover, the monotonicity and convexity of \(B_n\) is shown. Then, applications of generalized Bézier transformation in approximation and curve modelling is presented. The author proves that the sequence of the functions \(B_n\) is uniformly convergent to \(f\) on \([0, 1]\) and shows the bounds of the approximation error. Finally, the one-dimensional generalized Bézier transformation is expanded to a multidimensional case.
