      Let \((\Omega,\mu)\) be a measure space, \(3\leq p<+\infty\) and \(m\in\mathbb{N}\). Assume that \(u_k\rightharpoonup u\) in \(L^p(\Omega,\mu;\mathbb{R}^m)\) and \(|u_k-u|^{p-2}(u_k-u)\rightharpoonup 0\) in \(L^{p'}(\Omega,\mu;\mathbb{R}^m)\), where \(p'=\frac{p}{p-1}\). The authors prove that \[ \int|u_k|^pd\mu\geq \int|u|^pd\mu +\int|u_k-u|^pd\mu +o(1) . \] The real-valued case (\(m=1\)) is contained in [\textit{S. Solimini} and \textit{C. Tintarev}, Commun. Contemp. Math. 18, No. 3, Article ID 1550038, 33 p. (2016; Zbl 1351.46015)]. Moreover, it is proved that this inequality is false for all \(p\in (1,3)\).
