    The paper is mainly concerned with the existence of infinitely many nodal solutions of the following Kirchhoff type equation: \[ -(a+b\int_{\mathbb R^3} |\nabla u|^2dx)\Delta u +V(|x|)u =f(|x|,u),\quad x\in \mathbb R^3 \text{ and } u\in H^1(\mathbb R^3), \tag{P} \] where \(a>0\), \(b>0\), \(V_0\leq V(r)\in C([0,+\infty), \mathbb R)\) for some \(V_0>0\), \(f(r, -u)=f(r,u)\in C^1([0,+\infty) \times \mathbb R,\mathbb R)\) for all \(r\geq 0\). Under some further growth and monotonicity conditions on the function \(f(r,u)\) in \(u\), the authors prove that, for any \(b>0\) and any integer \(k\geq 1\), problem (P) has a \(k-\)nodes solution \(u^b_k\), and the energy of \(u^b_k\) is strictly increasing in \(k\). Furthermore, they prove also that, when \(b \rightarrow 0+\), the \(k-\)nodes solution \(u^b_k\) of problem (P) with \(b>0\) converges in \(H^1(\mathbb R^3)\) to a \(k-\)nodes solution \(u_k\) of (P) with \(b=0\).
