After quoting some known results about polynomial interpolation in the ring of residues mod \(p^n\) for prime \(p\) the authors sketch a proof of a recurrence formula for the number of permutational polynomials mod \(p^n\). It seems that they are unaware of the fact that an explicit formula for this number has been earlier obtained by \textit{G. Mullen} and \textit{H. Stevens} [Acta Math. Hung. 44, 237--241 (1984; Zbl 0563.12017)]. Finally the authors state, without giving any details, that they implemented an algorithm for computing a Gröbner basis for the ideal of polynomials vanishing identically mod \(p^n\) and give some examples.
