Systolic arrays for group explicit methods for solving first order hyperbolic equations (Q750099)

Systolic techniques for the simulation of the group explicit method for parabolic equations by systolic array data structures using the soft systolic algorithm are extended to include first order hyperbolic equations. The easy form of the finite difference approximation to the hyperbolic equation results in a simpler and hence faster and more area efficient basic cell.
