Lindeöf's theorem states that a bounded analytic function of the unit disk having an asymptotic value \(\alpha\) at a boundary point has an angular limit \(\alpha\) at this point. There are many extensions and generalizations of this result for quasiconformal and quasiregular mappings see the survey of the reviewer [Math. Rev. 85h:30028]. S. Rickman has shown in 1980 that a direct counterpart of Lindelöf's theorem is false for bounded qr maps in \(R^ 3\); to obtain a positive result one must replace the asymptotic value by a limit along a piece of surface satisfying some special conditions. The present authors extend Rickman's result to the case of normal quasimeromorphic mappings. The author also discuss isolated singularities of these mappings.
